Drinking Games:
The "24" drinking game
What you will need to play:
An episode of the TV show "24", preferably a recent one
A few friends
Beer (please, no liquor on this one)
Game basics:
All you have to do is put on an episode of "24" and the fun begins.
I have seen it suggested to take 1-2 shots with every rule in this
game, but that is just plain crazy. It is alcohol poisoning waiting to
happen. Please use beer only for this game.
Take 1 drink when:
Jack says “You have got to trust me”
– if the emphasis is on “got”, i.e. “You have GOT to trust me”, take
another drink
Jack doesn’t have time to explain
Jack doesn’t have time for this
Jack says “You’ve got to do it”
– if this is followed by “and you’ve got to do it now,” take 2 drinks
Anyone points out something that is “against regulations”
Anyone has got to understand what is at stake here
Anyone gets tortured
– if they are not a terrorist or criminal, take another drink
a perimeter is set up
– if the perimeter is supposed to be held until someone arrives,
take another drink
– if the agents manning the perimeter are redeployed, take
another drink
Jack takes a civilian hostage
Jack steals a car
Jack blows his own cover
Jack dies
– if he’s resuscitated, take another drink
Satellite coordinates are requested
– if they can’t get the coordinates, take another drink
there’s a problem with the database
a file is in the wrong format
something needs to be rerouted
someone uses another person’s computer
Chloe makes a nasty face
Any use of the word "protocol"
Someone is sending info to Jack's PDA
There is a split screen
Two drinks when:
The President does something cowardly
The First Lady has to be the Voice of Reason
Jack is forgiven for committing a crime or for disobeying orders
Anytime Jack says "dammit!"
You are not quite sure what Audrey's job is
Audrey mentions her father working for the DoD
The screen splits into four scenes at once
Bonus fun:
Everyone in the room bet on the mole at the beginning of an
episode; everyone that is wrong must finish their beer.
